The v1.8 design adds deeper markings and surface detail to a slim floating carrier with removable C-clips, anti-rotation locating slots and M3 fasteners. Explore the actual assembly geometry with TPU liners and suspension.

v1.8 · Use & validation
Each removable C-clip locates in an anti-rotation slot and is secured with one M3×8 screw and nut. Low-profile right-angle 3-pin XLR female connectors are needed at the microphones; straight connectors interfere, and the cable arrangement is not yet finalised.
170 mm is a nominal front-end reference; the internal diaphragm position has not been measured. The separate C-clips have print feedback, while long-term retention, durability and vibration isolation still need physical testing.
